Alfred Earl HayCraft

Alfred Earl HayCraft, 81, of Tamaroa, passed away at 5:01 P.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at his residence.
Alfred was a retired farmer.  He had also worked for Dragge Sawmill, Missouri Pacific Railroad, CocaCola Bottling Company, and until retirement at General Tire in Du Quoin.  He was a US Navy veteran of W.W.II.  He was a member of Tamaroa Pentecostal Church and Perry County Farm Bureau.
He was born January 30, 1921 at Randles, MO, the son of Joshua Columbus and Minnie (Kernell) HayCraft.
He married Frances May Weisel on August 31, 1940 at Fredericktown, Missouri and she preceded him in death on September 14, 1985.
He is survived by one son - Richard E. HayCraft of Tamaroa, one daughter - Virginia Moss of Tamaroa, two foster children - Shirley Szczeblewski of Mulkeytown and Bonnie Faye Robinson of Du Quoin, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son - J.C. HayCraft, one daughter - Edna Pitman, one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services were at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 11, 2003 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Joe Davison officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
